October 21, 2005 - The Peak of Fall

Here are some scenes from Friday, October 21, 2005. As it turned out, this day was about the peak up here at the Ranch. These pictures pretty much speak for themselves...

It was an incredibility nice afternoon.

This is a wild Cinnamon Fern just above the garden.

Fall is for wood splitting. Here's my current wood pile down in a back field.

I make a little trip off the mountain about a mile from the house and sit by this creek for a while.
